The congress of the AMRF, chaired at national level by Michel Fournier (88, Vosges), was organized by Bruno Bethenod, president of the Côte-d’Or section (21).
Some congresses are razor-sharp, others inspiring and exciting. Such was the case. Not forgetting a humanist dimension, with a focus on Armenia, its difficulties and its treasures. HOPI medical had made a special effort to present its mobile formulas (miniLim and LimStar carts), portable consultation units (Wallet and FMC) and on-site installation of its fixed “Office” solution, an ultra-complete doctor’s office (2.40 x 2.40m) managed by a nurse who establishes the relationship between the patient and the remote doctor(s). Serious medicine. 42 demonstrations of “real” teleconsultation, i.e. involving a physical examination of the patient, were carried out at the request of the telemedicine doctor (located in Nancy, Strasbourg … and even in one case in Houston, Texas) with the help of the (in-dis-pen-sa-ble) assistant standing by the patient’s side. Two ministers have honored us with their visits. Above all, dozens (hundreds?) of Mayors gave us the immense pride of stopping by, to understand the meaning of the title: “The end of medical deserts in rural areas”. We have the feeling that many of them were convinced. We thank them for their attention. We would also like to express our gratitude to the organizers, Bruno Bethenod and Cedric Szabo, Director of the AMRF, and their teams, who welcomed us. See you next year.
